Individual Therapy - 53 min

Excuse the analogy, but finding a therapist is a bit like dating, and we look to see if there is chemistry. Our first session is an intake and assessment, where I look to understand the landscape of your life, and what is bringing you to therapy. I will also use this time to introduce how I may be of service. I want you to have some sense of hope that you can get something from working with me. And with that, we can keep moving forward with weekly appointments.

I consider myself highly adaptable to my client’s needs, and am confident in the quality of my work.

Couples Therapy - 53 min

Couples, child-parent, or other dyadic dynamics have a slightly different therapy structure. My goal with couples session are to enhance more open and honest communication between parties, to get closer to the root of what each of you truly want and need from the relationship. This clarity will give us clues with how to move forward. I consider both parties at least partially responsible, and both parties will have “work” to do (such as behavior modifications). Topics may include: communication patterns, negotiating and compromising, love languages, trust, and resentments.
